Islington Council’s Ofsted report published Wednesday 15th April 2020, refers to the House Project!
Ofsted has judged that Islington Council’s children’s social care services are “outstanding” and praises an “unwavering commitment to improving and enriching the lives of children and their families”. An outstanding achievement. Richly deserved.
As part of Islington Council offer to care leavers Ofsted Inspectors reported…
“The House Project is an innovative & highly valued service that is making a significant difference for care leavers. The service helps young people to build confidence & to make friends for life, through preparation for independence & the provision of secure & affordable accommodation. Young people said to inspectors that being involved in the project makes them feel like they have a family”
